Ingredients
  1. 5 – 6 large apples, remove core and chop
  2. 3 tbsp water
  3. 1 tsp cinnamon
  4. 1 tsp nutmeg
  5. 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
  1. In a medium sauce pan over high heat, add all four ingredients and heat to a boil. This might be hard to see, since there isn’t much liquid, but just move the apples aside until you see the water bubbling.
  2. Reduce heat to lowest setting and cover. Leave for 15 minutes
  3. Using a potato masher, mash the apples to your desired consistently.
Notes
  1. Serving: 1 cup, recipe makes 2 – 3 cups of apple sauce.
