On May 25th, I decided to go all in with Keto. Up until now I’ve tried recipes that are Keto friendly but I was apprehensive to go full out. But that day, I got on the scale, glanced at the numbers as they resolved on the display and started researching. One thing I’ve learned the last 7 weeks is to change my wording from “I can’t eat … ” to “I don’t eat …”. It makes difference. For instance, I don’t eat flour but that doesn’t mean I don’t eat pizza!!!
I watched a video by Megha and Matt at Keto Connect, you can view it here. They prepared Fathead and Cauliflower pizzas. First of all, these two are entertaining to watch, but most of all they do a real review of the the food. So, I decided to try the Cauliflower one. Here’s what I did.
Next time, and there will be a next time, I will only use Parmesan in the crust and save the mozzarella for the topping. Also, it pays to get it as thin as possible, to make it crispy (if you like it like that, which I do).
I mentioned at the beginning of this post that I got on my scale, but it’s not just any scale, it’s a Renpho scale that I purchased from Amazon. I wanted a scale that would send my weight to my phone, without me entering it. But this one also records additional information like BMI and is Bluetooth. It connects no problem with my iPhone X or my husbands LG G4. That’s right. We both use it. If my phone happens to be near when he get’s on the scale, my phone will ask me to assign this new number to a user, you can have multiple users on your phone (or they can ghost and not show up).
I’m super happy with the scale, just wish the numbers would go down quicker. But 11lb in 6 weeks isn’t too bad.
