Each week I make salads (and sometimes breakfast) and place them in the fridge. Yesterday it struck me, as I placed the last of my Overnight Oats with Berries in the fridge, that the mason jars are taking over ample fridge real estate.
This week I made three Loaded Tuna, eight Chicken Fajita and eight Overnight Oats with Berries. That’s a lot of mason jars. But since the Fajita salad is a family favourite (two never made it to the morning) I made extra.

UPDATE on the exercise routine …. ((insert drum roll)), I have been getting up early every work day (4 weeks so far), only now I have company. Sebastien, my youngest, has started joining me. I wake him up each morning and he sleep-walks to the basement. At first I was planning on “hogging” the treadmill, but when Sebastien wanted to switch (he was on the elliptical) I agreed. It wasn’t so bad, the elliptical works out different muscles and Martin gave me the tip of lifting my heel when I step up. So, after my workout, I felt great! I’m considering adding some some kettle bell training to next months cardio. How cool is that?
